Is The Persisting Lump That Is Growing In Size On The Head Of The Baby Caused By A Fall A Cause Of Concern?
My baby 11 month old fell directly on his head, cried for a little, then couple of days later we noticed a soft bump, now it's need like 10 days and his bump is much much bigger, but now it's more like half his head is soft and one side of his head is bigger? I'm scared! Is it normal?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. I understand your concern. First be reassured that your kid is normal. By what you quote it should be a hematoma which will settle gradually after changing its color from bluish hue to black and then disappears. I will suggest you danger signs of head injury -
1. Vomiting continuously
2. Seizures
3. Watery of bloody discharge from ears and nose
4. Unconsciousness
5. Altered sensorium or behaviour.
If none of them are present, I don't think you should worry about his trivial head injury. For pain you can give oral Paracetamol in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly.
