Is The Painful Boil In Leg Oozing Liquid Due To Filaria And How To Treat It?

My brother who is 78 yrs old has been suffering with pain in the boil on the right leg and we consulted the doctor and exactly i don t know the reason but the boil oozes out liquid and the leg gives a greatpain and he is suffering ! do you think he is suffering with filaria and is there any treatment for that ?

I really appreciate your concern the given history here may not be the sign of filaria but this could be a infective boil or either may be the folliculitis, in both the condition the best of option to manage this is using anti-inflammatory drugs and the best drug is Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three time in day keep the area clean if you find some opening on the boil then "Povidone " ointment can be applied, this would come around very soon no need to worry about this, take care and have nice day.
