Is The Fetal Heart Rate Normal? Need Aminocentesis Test?

I had my 13 week ultrasound yesterday . In that we got result as Nt=3mm heartbeat=164 with 6 digits in each hand .We do not have 6 digits in my family/my husband's family. We did't get the blood results yet. I am 28 years old. I am really worried . My obgyn told 3mm is ok for my age .But some others told it is something to worry. Please help. Do I need to take amneosenesis test?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The nuchal thickness of 3mm is normal at this gestational age.
And the fetal heart rate is also normal.
Sometimes more number of digits can be associated with some visceral anomalies but that may not be true in all cases.
Serial antenatal checkups and ultrasound examinations are needed.
TIFFA scan and fetal cardiac assessment at around 18 to 20 weeks is needed.

Take care.
