Is The Constant Pain In Groin Due To Pulled Muscle?
My husband is a gas meter reader. He has been walking in the snow past his knees. He now has pain on the left side of his groin. In the past week he had to squat to pea because if felt better than standing. He said it was the force pushing when he peas that was uncomfortable. He walks through the snow 5 to 6 hours a day. Is this just a pulled muscle in his groin or something else to be checked out. Now going on 3 weeks of discomfort.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain in the groin could be due to a muscle pull or a labral tear of the hip joint. If hot fomentation and muscle relaxants do not provide relief then further investigations are needed. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
