General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Routine scan is done at around 3 to 4 month pregnancy and the main purpose for it is to detect any gross anomalies of fetus. so if your scan at 17 weeks is normal, then you need not to worry about your baby.
Repeat scan is not required as long as 1st scan is absolutely normal. Primolut N will not have any effect, as it had been taken before your missed period.
Hope this will help and do ask any questions to me directly anytime.
