General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sorry to hear you are suffering from epilepsy.

Temporal lobe lobectomy is a well-established procedure to treat epilepsy with very good results. It is well indicated in the management of patients whose seizures originate from the temporal lobe as anti-epileptic drugs alone may not always be enough.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mbuomboh Veranso
