Is Taking Tylenol After Bisoprolol Safe?

Hi, I am on Bisoprolol (2.25 mg) daily. I had symptoms for a heart arrhythmia a while ago, and though I m not showing any more signs and its probably just anxiety, I have to take it until I know for sure. Right now I have a headache and I m wondering if it s okay to take 1 Tylenol Extra Strength 500mg tablet. I JUST took my bisoprolol dosage... Thanks!

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
There is no interaction between Tylenol and Bisoprolol and you can take them together with no problem.
Bisoprolol is a beta blocker and is good for cardiac arrhythmia, vascular headache and anxiety.
If it does not control your symptoms and does not prevent headache, I could suggest medicines that I advise my patients.
I shall be happy to answer your queries.
Take Care
