Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Deviry is used for treating certain menstrual problems or uterine problems. It contains Medroxyprogesteron. Deviry is not advised if:

1. You are allergic to any ingredient in Deviry.

2. You have vaginal bleeding of unknown cause, or if you have a history of blood clots, bleeding in the brain (for example, stroke), liver problems, or breast or genital cancer.

3. You are pregnant or may be pregnant. There are some side effects to the baby if used in pregnancy.

FDA has classified this drug Category as X. It means studies in animals or human beings have demonstrated foetal abnormalities or there is evidence of foetal risk based on human experience or both, and the risk of the use of the drug in pregnant women clearly outweighs any possible benefit. The drug is contraindicated in women who are or may become pregnant.

Please consult a good gynecologist and decide what to do.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

All the best!
