zyprexa is an atypical antipsychotic and lamictil is used in bipolar disorder apart from epilepsy.morphine is prescribed in management of pain.its a opiod drug, habit forming for the high it causes. drs prescribe methadone when the patient is addicted to narcotics as apart of deaddiction programme as this relieves pain without causing high. One should not use methadone if severe asthma or breathing problems, or a bowel obstruction called paralytic ileus are there. medications taken for depression, mental illness, Parkinson's disease, migraine headaches, serious infections, or prevention of nausea and vomiting may interact with methadone and cause serious side effects.
The symptoms you are describing are suggesting that serious drug interaction happened and your husband should be immediately taken to ER where they evaluate him and do treatment.
You need to tell about all the medications your husband is taking to the dr who prescribed the methadone and he can suggest the dose or completely different medicine after examining patient.
methadone is habit forming drug which has to be taken exactly as prescribed dose and duration, other wise it is life threatening to take without qualified drs guidance
