Is Taking Petogen Shot Safe For Preventing The Periods Immediately?

Hi there, I urgently need ur help. Yesterday my period started so I took some Ovaral pills thinking they will stop the period imm but the bleeding just got stronger.

Iv got a pool party I have to attend this evening and won't feel comfy with my periods in the pool with other people, even though I used Tampons. A friend of mine suggested I go get a Petogen shot and by this evening the bleeding will stop.

How far true is that? If not what can I use to spot the period imm? Thanks

HI,
If one wants to post pone periods, it's better to start with medicines 5 to 7 days before onset of menses.
Though injection Pitogen may stop the menses already started- it's not advised to do so.Pitogen being high dose hormone-It may follow menstrual irregularity.
