Okay so I m on Levlen ED and I want to know how effective it is as a contraceptive because I take it around the same time every weekday but on a weekend I take it a few hours after what I would on a weekday. The reason I m asking this is because I want to know if I can get pregnant from dried sperm on a finger entering my vagina.Thank you.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Levlen is a combination birth control pill. It contains hormone estrogen & progesterone. It works by preventing ovulation( release of egg) in females. For that it should be taken daily at same time everday. It is a very safe contraceptive option. However there are some contraindications in women with previous heart disease, in women who have a family history of blood clots , women with severe obesity or high cholesterol level and in smokers over age 35.
As you just took the tablet delayed by few hours, so there are no chances of you being pregnant. Next time try to take the pill at approximately sametime everyday.
Don't worry you would be fine Hoping your query is solved
