Is Swollen Salivary Glands A Cause For Concern?

my son who is almost eighteen has swollen salivary glands. I took to Carespot and they told me to have him gargle with saltwater and massage the glands, so it will go away. It doesn't seem like something that will just go away. The internet is scaring me because all this stuff about Cancer.

I really appreciate your concern, forget about the cancer this is not the malignancy for sure but this could be due to some infection some time viral infection is very common if this is so then wait for some time and till then he could be given Tab Ibuprofen 200 mg three times in day, take care, have a nice day.
