Is Swollen Lymph Node Or Cyst Behind Ear A Cause For Concern?

I have a small swelling (less than 2 mm) or lump behind the ear, between the ear and the head. earlier I had acne but took antibiotics to get it treated. have severe dandruff as well. diagnosed as either cyst or swollen lymph node or nerve and advised to leave it alone. is it dangerous?

Hello,
Swelling could be because of acne . You need to take antibiotics like doxycycline which could take care of the infections .The skin infections are to be treated with antibiotics for a long duration like 10-15 days.
Secondly you should wash the area properly with betadine solution and soap and water.
Consult a dermatologist or ent specialist and take the medicines.
