Is Swollen Lymph Node In Groin Normal While Having Flu Symptoms?

I have had the flu. I found a swelling on the side off my left leg about the width of my hand below my penis. The doctor said it was a limp node. Brought on by the flu that I had for about 3 weeks. The swelling is going down but very slowly. Is this normal?.

It is common finding in case of viral infection or flu that lymph node in patient get enlarged. It will settle down with time as infection subsides gradually with treatment. Don't get too much worried about, you will be fine soon.
