Is Swelling In Legs Indicative Of Liver Failure?

recently my legs have begun to swell. at first I though ok my socks are too tight. but now both full legs can barely bend at knees. hard to get circulation going if sitting too long. recent and current mouth infection. Is my liver shutting down? I m starting to get nervous

Hi Swelling of legs could be due to various reasons like being overweight, varicose veins , less protein content, Thyroid, kidney liver or heart issues to mention a few. You have not mentioned your age or if you have any other health conditions. It's better you consult your doctor to get a better picture or reply with a more detailed description of your symptoms so I can help you better. In the meanwhile use pillows under your legs while lying down. Try to get some exercise. Don't drink too much water after 6 PM. Eat a nutritious balanced diet. Take care :)
