Is Surgery Required If CT Scan Shows No Cancer?

hi my husband has just done 9 chemo treatment for colon and liver cancer he had a pet scan and a ctscan done and both show no signs of cancer . but they want to do surgery on him now to get anything they can t see . we also have been taken a lot of the natural herbs and treatments that claim to keep the cancer cells from growing or coming back . The surgery would only give him a 50 % success rate and could kill him . We think the cancer is gone and he doesn t need the surgery what is your opinion can he survive and keep cancer gone without surgery?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, without studying the imaging plates and clinical examination nothing can be said for sure it is the malignancy case and for to give right advise one should have authentic report and clinical examination as long as your query is concern, if the doctor advise for surgery then there must be some lesions and that needs to be removed surgically, else surgery can not be perfume like that only hope this information helps.
