Is Supraventricular Tachycardia Considered To Be A Heart Attack?

some ten years agao I had SVT and taken to hospital. Also I was covered for critical illness insurance ie Heart attack cancer etc then some 5 years ago I was taken with heart attack and this reported to insurrance and they settled but I paid appx £37k in premium bet 1st and second. so is SVT considered to be a Form of H/att? Please adv

Hi There

I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that SVT is a type of Rhythm abnormality which could very well be treated by medicines and if it's very frequent and troubles you then it can be treated with a procedure called EPS and RFA.
No it's not at all any type of HEART ATTACK.
