Is Stomach Flu Causing Diarrhea, Nausea And Bloating?

I had thought I had the stomach flu this past Monday, the 18th. I felt constipated the previous night and had very bad abdominal pains. I woke up Monday morning around 7 am with horrible abdominal pain still, gas and the feeling of needing to go to the bathroom. I drank water and immediately vomited a couple times after. For the past 5 days I have felt nauseous in my stomach, had horrible diarrhea, no appetite and awful gas and bloating.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of diarrhea, nausea and bloating, yes this could be due to stomach flu. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many other reasons like electrolyte imbalance, acute gastritis, viral infection or due to food intolerance. Need not to worry. You should do tepid sponging if fever levels are high. Avoid intake of outside food. I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination. Doctor will take history and order blood test. Doctor may prescribe antiviral drug like acyclovir for at least 5 days along with anti inflammatory and antipyretic medications. You should avoid intake of outside food. You should take oral rehydrating solution as well. For now do proper rest because rest is important in case of viral infection and apply warm compresses on body.
