Is Spotting Normal In Pregnancy?

I am 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant and have had very light spotting or what you would call discharge of a light brownish to pale pink discharge. Occasional aches and some very slight cramps, I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and 3 days as I was experiencing the same symptoms, how ever the baby's heartbeat was present and looked perfect. I am worried about this discharge as my last pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage, am I just over reacting or is this quite normal?

Hello
Blood mixed discharge are not normal
Although at times they are uneventful, keeping in mind your past miscarriage, you need to take extra precaution.
A threat of miscarriage is there till you complete atleast 12 weeks.
If I were your doctor I would have asked you to take rest and hormonal support such as progesterone and HCG.
Hope my answer helps you.all the best and take care.
Thanks
