Is Sore Throat And White Pockets On Back Of Tongue A Sign Of Strep?
My son is complaining of a sore throat and I noticed he has some white pockets on the back of his tongue and his throat is red but not bright red he has no tonsils I was just wondering if this could be the start of strep and when he eats something that has a little spice to it he wants something to drink right away

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..it could be tonsillitis and also asstd with oral thrush u could use salt water gargle thrice daily, drink warm water, u could take a course of antibiotics and analgesics with the prescription by ent specialist,,hope it helps ,,tc
