Yes it is very harmful for your baby & if you care for your baby, then you should either stop smoking or abort the pregnancy.

Smoking anytime during pregnancy is dangerous, but is exceptionally so during the first three months. Some of the conditions in the child has been linked to smoking.

  • Congenital heart abnormalities
  • Small for date babies or premature birth
  • Still birth
  • Intellectual impairment
  • Attention deficit, hyperactivity and behavioral disorders
  • Learning disabilities
  • SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome)

Besides active smoking, even passive exposure to smoke is dangerous during pregnancy. The mother-to-be should therefore ensure that she is not even around people who smoke, as far as possible.

smoking during pregnancy is bad both for the mother and the baby. The nicotine in the tobacco can cause various birth defects in the baby. A pack of 15 releases toxins more than what the body can handle. I would advise you to quit smoking now. I would advise you to ge a ultrasound to rule out birth defects in the baby. Consult a gynecologist in this regard. I hope i have answered your query. Take care

I will try my best to answer your query.

Smoking is not only harmful to you but also to your baby during pregnancy. cigarettes contain chemicals which lessens the amount of oxygen needed by your baby. Oxygen is very important for helping your baby grow healthy. Smoking can also damage your baby's lungs.
Even the passive smoking is also not accepted during pregnancy.
i advice you to stop smoking immediately.

Hope my answer will be helpful for you.

Take care.
