Is Slight Pain In The Healed Fifth Metacarpal Bone A Serious Concern?

I had a fracture 5th metacarpal bone (pinky finger) and it is a greenstick fracture. After 2 months it healed in a bent way. A little bump is seen. The bone is little bent as shown in the x ray and I think it healed just like that. I m 21 years old. My finger moves pretty fine but I feel a very little pain at times (very rare but still it pains). So please tell me whether it is something to worry about. Should I get a surgery done?.

Hi, the little finger often heals like that. A little pain occasionally is normal. If the deformity is significant and bothers you, you may consider surgery. I would advise you to leave it alone--regards
