HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Diabetes can be associated with peripheral neuropathy which can cause abnormal sensations or pain in the lower limbs.

This is treated by (1)controlling diabetes to prevent further nerve damage and possibly reversing any damage that has already occured

(2)there are medications that can be used to help treat nerve pain eg are amitriptyline, gabapentin, lyrica, tegretol

You can consider speaking to your doctor who can do a examination assessing the nerves in the lower limb and would be able to start appropriate medication for you.

I hope this helps
