Is Severe Pain In Knee Under Knee Cap After Hot Shower Concerning?

Hi! For about the last 6 months iv been having pain in my right knee right after a hot shower. I m very active and my knees never hurt then, only right after a warm/hot shower. The pain is about under my knee cap. I only have pain when I m sitting after I get out of the shower, not when I m standing. Iv had an injury this past summer from falling off a horse to my knee. This has long since healed but could this have anything to do with it. Also the pain is extreme and prevents me from doing anything after my shower. At times it s a 10 out of 10. (Ten being most painful). Usually it s about an 8 out of 10 but like I said, it s been worse. Should I be concern? Treatments/remidys to help this? Thx, Horses4Ever
