Is Scratch On Wrist By Dog Concerning?

Hi to the Dr's. Online! I just have a one question, and I hope someone could please answer this. I was playing with my dog and then my dog has scratched me near on my left arm wrist, but my dog didn't bite me. That happened just today and I think it was 7 hours ago. The scratch is only little and there's no blood. But I can feel there's a very little pain in it. I immediately stopped playing with my dog after that and I washed the scratched part with soap & water and put some disinfectant (Isopropyl Alcohol) on it. My dog has been injected with anti-rabies last year (2010) and the guy who has injected my dog with that anti-rabies said that my dog should have an anti-rabies injection again this year but I haven’t done that yet. My dog is only 1 year and 2 months old and I have no other pets. My real concern is, should I see a Doctor and get myself injected with anti-rabies? Thank you.

hi
you have mentioned that you have a scratch with out bleeding through a pet dog which is vaccianted.
please consult a near by doctor and take anti rabies vaccine. you do not require any immunoglobulins and just a vaccine is enough. The best thing you have done is washed the wound immediately.
Not only a bite sometimes even a scratch from dogs also may transmit rabies but it is mostly through stray dogs
