Is Ribcage Burning Pain With A Stomach Bruise Worrisome?

I have a cold with a bad cough, while coughing I splint my gut with a pillow to help ease the pain. Last night while coughing I felt a very shape burning pain just below my rib cage on the left side. This morning there is a large bruise on my stomach the size of a dinner plate, should I be worried?

Yes you should be, and should consult a gastrologist to clear your doubts, your symptoms suggest bleeding and that can be innocuous, but still find out if something ominous has happened.
