Is Redness And Hot Face, Dry Eyes The Common Side Effect While Taking Methylprednisolone?

I am currently taking the methylprednisolone 6 day pack for the first time due to throwing my back out 9 days ago. I am on my second day and was just wondering if redness and heat in the face is a common side effect? My eyes also feel very dry..and the pain hasn t seemed to decrease yet..I know it is only the second day, so I am just wondering if it takes a little longer to notice any results?

Yes, these symptoms are part of major side effects while taking methylprednisolone.
Please consult immediately the doctor who prescribed the steroid to you.
Meanwhile stop taking the dose.
