Is Recurring Missed Heartbeat An Indication Of Heart Attack?
I have had symptoms for over a week of having my heart feel like it's skidding for a fraction of a second, then it goes back to normal. It is more and more frequent every day and it feels like I can't quite catch my breath, then I cough a little. Is this a sign of an impending heart attack? I have a cardiologist appointment the day after tomorrow. My doctor's office is closed, it's 9 p.m. My face is flushed and I have been very fatigued. Is this something that can wait or do I need to go to an E.R.?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... Yes your symptoms like difficulty in breathing, coughing, fatigue, skipping your heart beat might be symptom of heart disease. These symptoms may be linked to some lung related problem such as pneumonia, pneumothorax or some generalized systemic illness According to me you should not wait as the condition is getting worse. You should rush to emergency room right now. An ECG would be done to diagnose any heart problem.
Refer to the cardiologist
Hope this helps Good luck
