Is Recurring Fever Due To An Infected Lead Of The Pacemaker?

Hi!
I need urgent advise, my father had a pacemaker implant in Jan' 2016 on his right side. But it got infection within two months and he was operated again. His infection was cleared and pacemaker was implanted now on his left side. But during the second Operatio doctor left one lead of the previous pacemaker inside as it was difficult to take out. Now he gets fever after every two days for which we give him antibiotics and paracetamol. Please help and suggest if somebody in Chandigarh can operate him and remove the infected lead.
My contact no is 0000.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the febrile condition and suspected case of infection due to the foreign body remained inside then it need to be treated first and ideally the same surgeon should be informed, second differential etiology of fever need to be ruled out hope this information helps.
