Is Recurring Abdominal Pain Suggestive Of Colon Polyps?

Had endoscopy done about 18 months ago, for abdominal pain, all test results came back fine. The pain has returned, I m supposed to have a colonoscopy done later this year as precaution, I ve got a family history of colon polyps, should I see my GI doctor now, or deal with the pain until next fall, I m hesitant since he didn t find anything last time, I feel like ours be wasting his time and mine.
