Is Rash On Body While Recovering From Flu Normal?

Over the weekend I had a really bad flu. Fevers and chills, body aches, diareha, vomiting and extreme sweating... I didnt get out of bed for 2 days. Slowly getting better, still coughing, dizziness, sore muscles, still sweating in sleep. Today I woke up and I am covered in a rash. Is this normal?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

A rash can occur as a result of a viral infection such as the cold or flu.

This is called viral exanthem. The rash would normally resolve at the same time the illness resolves or soon after.

I hope this helps
