Is Pregnancy Unsafe For A Middle Aged Woman?

Hello sir, This is Sankar, 41 yes old, having 2 girl child s 11 yrs & 4 yrs old. My wife, 37 yes old has conceived in November 2015 expecting to have male child. At this age is there any complications will arise during the course of pregnancy. Also she has undergone sciserian operation for the earlier deliveries. What are the precautions to be taken. Will the child have good health mentally and physically. Pls advice me. Waiting for your response. Sankar

If she is otherwise well and there are no complications up to this point, then the baby should be fine.

Because she is at an older age for this pregnancy, there is an increase risk of down's syndrome but her doctor may screen for this.
It is not likely to occur.

With history of a previous cesarean section, she would likely need to deliver this way again.
