Is Pregnancy Possible While On Birth Control Pills?

Hi I m a young girl on the pill about 3 months to regulate my periods and also for contraception, I had sex 6 days ago with my boyfriend but because I m on the pill we did not use a condom.. About 3 days after intercourse I began to get a lot of discharge mainly a yellow colour but no itch or soreness and today I m experiencing period cramps and a little bit of blood with the discharge. Would you have any idea what could be wrong??

Hi!
I have gone through your query.
Yes, pregnancy is quite possible while taking birth control pills.
Even taken properly as per the instructions the hormonal contraceptives (birth control pills) can cause pregnancy in 9% of the users.
Yellowish discharge mixed with blood associated with cramps but without itching or soreness could be a sign of implantation.
So, an early pregnancy might be the reason behind your symptoms.
To be on safer side get the home pregnancy test done.

Hope this answers your query.
