Is Pregnancy Possible While On Femiplan?
HI, i had my period on 1st of October and i started using femiplan pills on 5th of October i had unprotected sex on 7th October. I did home pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative should i be worried since i have not yet had my periods. My daughter is 11months i really don t want to get pregnant now its too soon. ps i have been on and off femi plan pills in the last 3months mainly because i take it at 10pm but i keep forgetting to take it on time but i never skip any days without taking the pill

Hello. there is a minor possibility of pregnancy even after taking emergency pills or oral contraceptive. Best is to get a urine pregnancy test to confirm. UPT comes positive by one week f conception. If any further doubts meet a gynecologist. Ultrasound scan of abdomen gives confirmatory diagnosis as to whether you are pregnant or not. with regards- Dr Sanjay Kini
