Is Pregnancy Possible While Having Althea Pills At Various Timings?

Hi. I took Althea last June 16 and the last dose was July 6. Between June 16-July 6, I drank an alcoholic drink and had unprotected sex. And before that incident, I forgot to take it at the same time each day for 2 wks. My scheduled time was 9:30 pm but there were times that I took it past midnight. What should I do? Its July 11 already and still don t have period.

kindly get an urine pregnancy test done at home immediately.
since you have not taken the oral contraceptive pills as per its schedule, the failure rate increases at such times.
if the urine pregnancy test is negative and you still don't get your periods kindly repeat it on daily basis and get an ultrasound abdomen done to confirm.
urine pregnancy test some times takes longer time to show positive results.
if the test is positive stop taking althea pills.
in case you donot wish to continue the pregnancy kindly consult a gynecologist for further management.
it is important to take the oral contraceptive pills daily at the same time to get maximum efficacy.
with each skipped dose the efficacy reduces and the failure rate increases.
