Is Pregnancy Possible Through Protected Sex?

On Sat my boyfriend and I had protected sex with a condom during the 3rd day of my period, but he had it on the wrong side and he turned it to the right side. He said he didn t ejaculate and that it was a little bit of pre-cum. I took morning after pill (My Way I think) 20 min later. For almost 3 days I ve had non-stop, but I m worried it might also an early sign pregnancy. I started taking the birth control pills Junel Fe as precaution in case the MAP didn t work. I m not sure if the bloating is all the morning after pill or pregnancy since it s the first time I ve taken this type of contraception. I just ended my period yesterday, but I don t when it may start since the cycles have a tendency to randomly become irregular with birth control or anything hormonal. Any ideas what might be happening?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concerns.

Based upon your history there is no chance for pregnancy as you had a protected sex. Your irregular periods are not due to pregnancy in my opinion. You can have a ultrasound abdomen done to rule out the cause if any. If you were my patient I will also suggest you to have a thyroid profile done. Hope this answers your query.

Regards,
Dr.Alekhya.
