Is Pregnancy Possible If Contraceptive Pill Was Not Taken Before Intercourse?

Good evening. Ive been on the mercilon pill for about a year now. Round about the Friday 15th January, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend in which he has ejaculating inside me, I did not take my pill for that day before I had unprotected sex, I only took it afterwards. I am now 2 days, going onto 3 days of the pills in which I m supposed to be getting my periods and have not received it yet. Could I possibly be pregnant? am I able to fall pregnant a day before I m supposed to get my periods? Please help

i have understand your concern
pills inhibit the pregnancy through inhibiting ovulation or inhibiting implantation or increasing the thickness of vaginal secretions
normally pills control the pregnancy very effectively , if you have missed one day prior to intercourse , it doesnt leads to pregnancy , if you have missed the dose after intercourse it is possible
if you have still doubt you can check blood beta HCG levels after one week of intercourse , urine pregnancy test after 12 days
