Is Pregnancy Possible If HIV Positive?
hi, one of my friendis hiv +ve married Indian woman, with no children yet. her husband is still -ve. I want to know what are the ways for her pregnancy, in this case? can they have a better life further with their own children? Is there any hope? If yes, how that can be achieved?

Yes definitely pregnancy is possible with having hiv. Just you should keep some precautions and care to prevent infection to the baby. Prophylactic nevirapin is used for yhat. And baby should be delivered by caserean section.breast feeding should be avoided. Consult gynecologist for that.and plan pregnancy accordingly.

there is chances that her children might be have HIV in future
but there are many antiHIV medicines are available
which will helpful to cut down or reduced HIV transmission in pregnancy
but it is not 100% protective bit it is beneficial for both
