Is Pregnancy Possible Due To Seminal Fluid Transmission By Genital Manipulation?

Hello, I am currently on microgynon 30 and have been taking it for a number of months. However, I have recently taken a weeks worth of penicillin for tonsillitis. I know these antibiotics affect the pill and can stay in your system but I am worried as to whether I could be at risk at all. After 4 days of finishing the course of antibiotics, i did not have intercourse but my partners penis rubbed against my clitoris for approximately 2 minutes and then he used his fingers and inserted them into my vagina. I was 15 days through my pill pack. Could I be at any risk at all? Thank you in anticipation of your help.

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) As such, chances of getting pregnant are almost nil. As there was no penetrative sex act, and there was no spillage of semen inside and around the vagina.

3 ) As you are talking birth control pills regularly, on day 15 of the cycle, then the pills have already worked out to prevent the pregnancy. So you need not worry about the pregnancy.

4 ) If at all you happen to cross your dates, then please get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

5 ) Even if you are pregnant , you can opt for termination of the pregnancy with medicines safely till 9 weeks of pregnancy under medical supervision.
