Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Plan B After Outercourse Apart From Starting On Birth Control From The Very Next Day?

Today: I am a female and I had sex with my boyfriend. The condom broke but he had not ejaculated, he did have preejaculation. I had taken Plan B within 20 minutes of the incident. I am not on birth control and I only start ovulating in 4 days. My firsy question is, is there a possibility of pregnancy? Secondly, I want to be put on birth control tomorrow and I was told that blood tests could be done. What gets tested for and will my doctor pick up that I have taken Plan B?

Hi I think there is very little chance of pregnancy if you had taken emergency pill. If your periods are delayed, do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. Regarding birth control pills, it should be started between day 1 to 5 of your periods. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
