Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Nordette Post Unprotected Sex?

A friend of mine is worried that she's pregnant. She told me that her period takes 23, 25 or 28 days at a time. Recently, she did it with her boyfriend and he came inside her. She was worried that she might get pregnant. Her estimated period is on Saturday this month. She already took nordette as ecp.
Is there a chance that she'll get pregnant?

I have gone through your question and I understand your friend's concern. If she has taken Nordette as it is supposed to be taken i.e 4 pills are to be taken within 5 days (120 hrs) of unprotected sex and 4 pills after 12 hrs of first dose then it is highly unlikely for her to get pregnant.
As these emergency contraceptive pills have a side effect of disturbing the normal menstrual cycle I would suggest she wait for 10 days at least in case of missed periods and then take a pregnancy test just to be sure.
