Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking I-pill After Intercourse?

I got my last periods on the 30th of June and then i had sex on the 10th of July and took iPill immediately well within the time span. Now on the 19th of July I suddenly got heavy bleeding and it stopped the next day that is on the 20th., I am extremely worried that i might be pregnant and that this can be implantation bleeding. Please tell me if that is possible. I am looking for a very quick response i am extremely tensed. PS - This is not the first time I have taken iPill.

Hello, greetings! Thanks for your query. I-pills, when taken within 72 hours have over 99%, but not 100% efficiency rate. It is highly unlikely, but not impossible that this maybe an implantation bleeding. I suggest you get an ultrasound of pelvis to confirm the status so that further measures maybe taken. Alternatively, it maybe your period happening earlier than expected, this situation is called polymenorrhoea.
