Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Being On Birth Control Pills?
About a week ago, I had unprotected sex. I am on the birth control pill called Chateal, but I have only been on it for almost 3 months. Immediately after sex, I started feeling nauseous. My stomach felt like it was turning. I felt like this for at least 2 days after the fact. Today, I noticed what appeared to be blood clots after using the bathroom. They were reddish-brown in color. I have been continuing taking the pill, but I'm not sure if I could be pregnant because of these symptoms.

Chateal is a combined hormone contraceptive pill & contains female hormone estrogen & progestrin which prevents ovulation & therefore pregnancy. Take this medicine at the same time each day and in the order directed on the package.
There is some chance of pregnancy if you miss one or more pill, otherwise birth control pill is very effective in preventing pregnancy.
The blood clot you had along with nauseous symptoms are abnormal & You should do a pregnancy test done to rule-out pregnancy possibility. Pregnancy test could be easily done at home too. Get a pregnancy kit from market. Follow instructions on pack. Presence of 2 lines on test kit after addition of urine means you are pregnant.
