Is Pregnancy Possible Despite A Vaginal Infection?

I was wondering what my chances are of being pregnant... I had a baby 6 months ago, and never went on birth control because of hormone problems. A couple weeks ago I was in the ER for abnormal vaginal bleeding and pain. There were no tears or cuts, no fibroids, no cysts. They said it was hormonal, but later found it was infection. Two nights ago, we had unprotected intercourse. Normally I don t worry about protection because we usually finish with anal sex, but this time we had an accident. Is there any chance of me being pregnant from the first time? It took me 9 months to become pregnant with my first

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have unprotected intercourse. So there is a chance that you may get pregnant. Vaginal infection & pregnancy has no relation. I mean you may have pregnancy despite of vaginal infection.
You should go for urine pregnancy test or blood pregnancy test after 20 days of intercourse.

For infection you can take drugs like metronidazole and clotrimazole. These are prescriptions based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
