Is Pregnancy Possible Despite TOP At 7 Weeks?

Hi, I had a medical TOP at roughly 7 weeks and 4 days, 3 weeks ago today. I have just done a pregnancy test and it the result shows a strong positive line. Is it possible that my hcg levels haven't gone down yet, or is it more likely that I am still pregnant as tests should come back negative by now? Thanks

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Persistent beta hCG levels after 2 weeks of abortion can be due to incomplete abortion or persistent trophoblastic disease .
I would suggest you to get a ultrasound done and a blood beta hCG levels done so that the diagnosis can be confirmed.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
