Hello
Welcome to HCM.

You have not mentioned what kind of lactation problem you experienced?
So far lactation is considered ,it is normal for a mother to keep secreting milk till 2 years beyond since birth of baby.
Contraceptive effect of lactation is strong in first 6 months after delivery.
The effect is enhanced depending on how frequenty you put the baby on breast to suckle.
However, this contraceptive effect slowly drops therafter and chances of conception increases.
After 1 year and 3 months, conception is quite possible.
But as my recommendation,it is better to have minimum 2 year gap between successive pregnancies for better health outcome of yours and that of baby.

Hope this information helps.
Feel free to ask any more doubts if you have.
