Is Penicillin Causing Headache, Watery Eyes And Sore Throat?
Hi yes i was in the hospital yesterday with strep throat. They gave me two shots of penicillin in my butt. Today i have a temperature of 99.6 my body is stiff. It hurts when i move feels like someone punched me on the side of my throat. Really bad headache. Watery eyes. And i cant eat or drink nothing. Want should i do?

First thing is it is not due to Penicillin Shots. It is due to the Infection of your throat you are having all these problems .
By now the Penicillin should have given you some relief but your problems are worsening means that Penicillin is not working on you and you need to be put on a different Antibiotic.
Also ask your doctor for a prescription of NSAID medication as these will help in reliving the throat pain , headache and temperature.
Also do salt water gargling, drink hot water, Avoid Non veg and oily food . Avoid Citrus Fruits.

Though im injections can be used to treat strep throat , it is more commonly treated orally.
The use of oral sprays or gargles to help reduce the pain in the throat may help. This includes agents such as diflam, chloroseptic, covonia throat spray.
Pain killers such as ibuprofen, naproxen may also be helpful.
If there is no improvement then you need to see your doctor for a different course of antibiotics.
