Is Pain In Breast A Side Effect Of Taking Birth Control Pill?

Okay, so the sides of my breasts hurt. I have done breast checks 1-2 a week and have felt no abnormal lumps or anything. But from what I have read could the sides of my breast be hurting from my birth control? From the amount of hormones if gives off?

Hello,
Yes. Breast tenderness and pain are the usual side effects of birth control pills.
The tenderness can be reduced by decreasing your caffeine and salt intake and by wearing a bra with good support.
Usually it gets better within a few weeks because your body just needs some time to adjust to its effects..
Nothing to worry about this, these are due to hormonal fluctuations in body.
Because birth control pills contains nothing but hormones.

Hope this helps.
