Is Ovulation Possible While Having Free Fluid In POD?
Hi Doctor, I am on my first clomid cycle and i am 28 years old. i went to follicular scan on 11, 13, 15 and 17th days of my cycle n so far on 17th day, my scan showed 13mm follicle on right ovary and 10mm follicle on left ovary..E.T is 8.0 mm. ALso i have mild free fluid in POD. My doctor asked me to go for scan again on 19 and 21 days. So is there a possiblility of ovulatiing in this cycle?? should i continue going for scan?? n how positive are my reports??

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Free fluid in pouch of Douglas , is suggestive of ovulation has occurred.But looking at the size of follicles you have.. it seems to be not possible ( healthy mature follicle is . minimum 20 mm in size.
That's why your doctor has advised scanning on day 20- 21 to note late ovulation. Please go for that.
If there is no positive sign, your doctor may change the dose/ drug.
