Is Open Heart Surgery Dangerous At 84 Years Of Age?
my father aged 84, has disgnosed with 3 blocks in the arteries. 2 blocks are 100% and the 3rd one is 75%. Because of his old age, Dr. suggested Angioplasty. Does the open heart surgery is harmful to him at this age? Dr. said it is not adviseable. What is your opinion please ?

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here, and age of your father and his heart condition it is not advisable to go for any invasive procedure instead this can be best manage with the pharmacotherapy and changing certain life style this could give equally same result as one would get after the surgical treatment, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
